Well, we had a very busy January. It's really amazing that we had time to take any pictures. The two weeks was pretty calm, but we trying without dishwasher that died 2 days before Christmas. On the day before MLK day we went to the Children's program at the Memphis Symphony with our friends from FCC. Here's Cackie & Gili just before the concert. Afterward we went out to eat and the girls had the best time playing and laughing.
Bruno is on the left and Jackson is on the right. They are all puppy, definitely keeping us going. But they are also so very sweet. By 8PM they are usually worn out and snoozing with Michael on the couch.
Later that week Cackie came down with her first real bad cold. She had a fever for 5 days plus a bad head cold. Poor thing was so sick she didn't want to do much of anything. That week was pretty crappy and then to top things off, when we woke up that Thursday morning we found our Aierdale Terrier, Guinness, dead in the kitchen. He had been sick with cancer around Christmas 2005, but had no signs of getting sick again. We were just crushed and really missed our big stinky dog.
The next week, things started looking up for us. We got a new dishwasher, finally! And then, last Saturday we headed to Coldwater, MS to pick up a new puppy. I had seen an ad in the paper for welsh terriers (they look like small aierdales) and after doing some more looking I found out that the litter had the same birthdate as Guinness. Cackie had spent the night before with Michael's mom and then on Saturday morning Michael and I went to pick up our new puppy.

The rest of the month was pretty good. Yesterday we went to Gili's 3rd birthday party and Cackie has a great time.
