On May 30 we celebrated the 2nd anniversary of Cackie's Gotcha day. We went out for dinner and gave her a Year of the Monkey drum that we bought in China.

Sunset Symphony
Tamela & Gili joined us for the Sunset Symphony and we had a fabulous time!
This is my all time favorite picture of the girls...
We didn't actually go into the big park, but instead we had our own little party up on the bluff...

Mother's Day Weekend
The day before Mother's Day, I took the GMAT exam, so Michael took Cackie to the Children's Museum. She had a GREAT time!
On Mother's Day we launched our annual balloon tribute to Cackie's birthmother & fostermother.
Here we are with the balloons....
Here are the cards that we attached to them...

2 year referral anniversary
April 19th was our 2 year referral anniversary. Just a few weeks after our referral we received some updated pictures of Cackie. It turns out that those pictures were taken on April 19th, the same day we first saw her picture. So, for the 3rd year in a row, we have pictures of Cackie on April 19. From 2005 thru 2007...
